Powerful messages from BASW's Research

The BASW report on the state of social work which I mentioned in my last post is now available to download.

It has some powerful messages. Social workers told BASW that they suffered from:

• High caseloads
• Overwork
• Bullying by management
• Poor (or non-existent) administrative support

Poorly designed IT systems were also mentioned.

This report must NOT be ignored.
