More sense in the discussion of the Essex ‘Caesarean case’


The British Association of Social Workers (BASW) has also made some very sensible comments, describing some coverage of the case as reducing the debate to the ‘absurd’.


BASW also makes the very sensible point that the correct word to describe the court proceedings is not ‘secret’ but ‘confidential’. That is an important distinction.

I hope the folks at the relevant newspapers are listening, but I don’t expect they are.
